We keep as little as possible, for as short a time as possible.

Photos

Your original photos are read once to write the curse, then deleted. Photos from abandoned checkouts are deleted within three hours. From the first photo we make one stylized "cursed portrait" that only you can see, at your private curse link. It is never shown on the Wall, published, sold or shared, and we delete it on request. We never use photos to identify anyone.

What they did

Your description is sent to the Spirits (Anthropic's Claude AI, which does not train on it) to write the curse, then erased from our records.

Your email and your Grimoire

Stripe gives us the email you paid with. We use it to send your curse and as the key to your Grimoire, the private page listing your curses, payments, portraits and conversations with the Spirits. There's no password: you sign in with a link we email you. We don't send marketing email. Ask us and we'll delete your Grimoire.

Conversations with the Spirits

Messages you send the Spirits about a curse are stored with that curse so you can read them again. They're sent to Anthropic's Claude to write the replies.

What we keep

The target's first name and last initial, the curse's title and text, and whether it appears on the Wall. Anyone can ask us to delete any of it.

Payments

Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Cookies

None for tracking. Your browser may remember which design you previewed for the current session.
